How is a plasma lighter different from a regular lighter?

  • Plasma lighters are windproof and fuel-free. They use a rechargeable battery and electrodes to create a plasma arc instead of a flame.

What can I light with it?

  • Candles, incense, paper, gas/propane BBQs, stoves, fireworks, and more — as long as it fits between the electrodes.

How many lights per charge?

  • Usually 100–300 ignitions, depending on usage.

How long does charging take?

  • About 1–2 hours from empty.

How do I charge it?

  • Each lighter comes with a USB cable compatible with laptops, phone chargers, and car adapters.

How do I clean it?

  • Brush residue gently from the electrodes with a dry toothbrush or cloth. Alcohol wipes may also be used.

How hot does it get?

  • The plasma arc reaches about 1,100°C.

Is the battery rechargeable?

  • Yes — all lighters use UN 38.3 certified lithium-ion batteries, like smartphones.

Can I touch the arc?

  • No. Contact may cause a quick burn or sting.

What happens if I touch it by accident?

  • It won’t electrocute you, but it may feel like touching two very hot pins.

What safety features are included?

  • Two-step activation (lid/slide + button)

  • Auto shut-off after 7–10 seconds

  • Electrodes concealed when stored

  • No dangerous flare-ups like traditional lighters

Can it be used as a Taser or for self-defence?

  • No. Plasma lighters are designed only for lighting.
